WinterWealth Groningen

Today was the second meeting of the Groningen chapter of the Urban Photo Collective. I missed the first one due to back problems but this time I was there for the meeting at the WinterWealth (WinterWelvaart) event. It was a lot of fun meeting all these people with an interest in photography. My colleague and fellow blipper Herman was also there.

WinterWealth is a three-day event with historic (charter) ships. They look absolutely fabulous at night with all the lights. Unfortunately it had started snowing when I took this shot and you can clearly see the snowflakes on the lens. There were other shots taken before this one, but I think this is the most atmospheric.
