Fundraising.

A bunch of young people I work with organised a fundraising activity for breaktime today. Yesterday they spent the afternoon baking scones, ginger biscuits, butterfly cakes, mince pies etc and today they set up a small stall and sold them.

They raised £60.35 for Cancer Research. The most expensive item was 30p. The event lasted only 20 minutes. By my calculations that's at least 10 items sold every minute.

I was incredibly proud of what they achieved.
