On Frozen Pond

This pond in St Ives Estate was frozen again this afternoon, but the ducks were quite happy walking on it as floating. I t was great to watch them landing on the ice but I failed to capture it - here are some taking off being observed by one standing on the ice in the foreground.

We felt rather guilty as they followed us up and down the pond but we had nothing to give them!
