Freezing

I know this looks like an emergency blip. but I was delighted on putting some new batteries into this electronic thermometer to discover that the external link had started working again. After the unfortunate 'knocking into a sinkful of dishes' incident it hadn't worked properly despite my best efforts to dry out the innards with a hairdryer. The internal thermometer and the clock did come back to life, but the link to the external thermometer resolutely refused to work.
Until today.
So I'm inexplicably happy.
Much to L's bemusement.
I have a simple life sometimes.
