You know it's Christmas in Spain when...

... the streets are full of people selling Poinsettias. Traffic roundabouts, public gardens and village balconies all have them in abundance, making everything look wonderfully vibrant. This is a variegated plant which was given to us for Christmas and which we hope to be able to keep alive for the next week as they can sometimes be quite temperamental.
