Ice magic

I've been for a walk to the forest in the hope of getting some good pictures.

The deer were playing hide and seek and although I saw some at a distance and a few white flashes of their behinds in amongst the trees, I couldn't get a picture of them.

I took loads of pictures of icicles but whilst crossing the stream I noticed the forzen area in the shallows and thought it looked ever so pretty so have used this shot for my blip today.

NOTE TO SELF: Standing ankle deep in freezing water to get a photo of the ice is NOT the best time to remember that you're wearing your breathable gortex walking boots and not your waterproof wellies!!! Makes for an interesting squelsh home :o)
