The Faraway Hills
Well I call them the faraway hills but actually they are the Grampian Mountains, which separate the highlands from the lowlands (where we live) in Scotland. Ben Nevis the highest mountain the the UK is part of the Grampian range.
Taking the picture from the top hill of the Craigie Hill Golf course, which we walk the dog when icy or snow lying, all other weather conditions the golfers are out! I can see this spot from the back bedroom of the house and I love walking up here for the view of the hills. The dog also loves it as there are lots of deer, fox, bird and rabbit smells. Also streams and hills to throw hereself off. Yes, she is that daft, ran and ran continuously today. Our house is over to the left a bit from here.
It's the annual work Christmas party tomorrow night - suppose better make an effort and do some hair removal as Cameron told me I had legs like a man when he saw me putting socks on the other day! (Well it's winter and they are usually not on show).
