Saving the pennies

Still feeling sorry for myself this morning but a woman's work is never done so on with the chores!

I was looking at the dust that had settled everywhere and thought I would blip one of my favourite family treasures - a money box. She belonged to my grandmother, or Momo, who came from Norway. The box is very simple, a swivelling head with a wide mouth into which the pennies are put. The head is turned down into her body and the money is deposited. The woman is dressed in her bunad but I am not quite sure from which area of the country - perhaps someone could help me?!

We had rain today and the possibility of snow tomorrow. Both young bulls are now sold so that cant be bad!
