A Pile of Ironing

I don't know many women who just iron. We always have a pile of ironing.
Mine kept me busy most of the day. There is something quite satisfactory about seeing the bottom of the washing basket. Wayfarer can't see what the fuss is all about, he would not care if he never saw the washing basket again, let alone the bottom.
