Coming our Way !!!

Standing on the Riggs Bridge in Ryedale looking out
over the River Rye. The water level is about 6ft under my
feet, the expanse of water stretches across a 2sq mile area.
All rushing below me to join into the River Derwent at Malton.
Just hope and pray the new £5.000.000 defences can hold it back.
All this after a slow Thaw on the Moors and surrounding area...
