Early summer

After a number of days of very different routine, today has been back to the usual. Sleeping at home. Up with the sunrise. One of my usual routes. A long day in the office.

Auckland has been rain bound for the last few days (more or less) and there was little to inspire while I was out. However, just after leaving the first of the parks today's route took me through, I noticed a magnificent hibiscus with large bright flowers. Very early in the summer for them to be out.
