Moon tonight

The moon was pretty hazy when I was on my way home. I thought I'd snap it looking all dreamy before the snow storm clouds arrived but when I went out there it was clear as a bell. I took the picture & went back in, then out again to the supermarket - in the short time I was indoors, the haze had returned.

In the bottom right of this picture is an inset from another photo I took tonight - Jupiter was looming bright, and this indistinct blob is Jupiter at 300mm plus 1.4x extender. Maybe I'll try again another night with the 2x extender on to see what I get.
