Aberration

With Christmas shopping being the lunchtime priority, the early mornings need to be the time of photography. That means traffic trails, a bit of sun coming up and other half-lit things. It's nice because it gets one thing mentally ticked off and most days that's the only achievement. I don't mean it to sound like a chore. It's not.

It wasn't today's only achievement either. Pretty things were bought. I also had an appraisal at work, which was a good laugh and not in the least as unpleasant or unsatisfying as these things are supposed to be.

Tonight was the P1-3 nativity. The traditional nonsense but with good swing songs. Mercifully short and entertaining.

Here's some lights on Rose Street seen through the chromatic aberration of the Lensbaby plastic optic with the f4 aperture ring. I liked the wee bell-shaped ones at the bottom and round the side where the lens is particularly crap.
