Inverness Islands
Went down to the Islands (in the middle of the river Ness just upstream of Inverness proper). It's normally a popular area for walking but I went down late afternoon at dusk. It was pretty cold but I was surprised at the number of people walking their dogs in the more or less dark. Many were women on their own in what I would have thought was ideal rapist territory but I suppose they were relying on the dog to protect them. Always a bit of a problem for men on their own as we're often aware we can appear as threatening - especially if you stop and look around for photo opportunities.
