Canal Basin, Kennet & Avon Canal, Devizes

Another wettish sort of day. We were staying at the Devizes Camping and Caravan Club Site Devizes which is a little way out of the town at a place called Sells Green. A very good site compared to some of our earlier experiences.

This day we drove to visit the long series of locks at Devizes. The town is famous for this long climb or decent depending on your direction of travel. The basin was not far from the top
