The Principles Square at Glasgow University

We went to Glasgow University to witness my daughter receiving her PhD. She is in the picture with the rest of the family. We were going to a special reception at the Principle of her department's Offices.

It turned out that of all the students being capped this day our Emily was going to be the first. She has spent almost 12 years studying since leaving school so this was a very important day for us all but mostly for herself.
