Democritus was possibly the first person to declare that matter is made of atoms

Today I'll just declare that chance favoured my little bit of the Universe. I had lunch in a little park nearby to work on the way back from a couple of home visits. While eating, I noticed a colourful flutter overhead. Abandoning my lunch and grabbing my camera, I headed to the tree, and found a few rainbow lorikeets. I had to zoom and crop this, but I think it came out pretty well. I'm especially chuffed because I was using manual focus.
