Strange Skies.....

This was the scene this afternoon as I walked from work to the station.....I can't quiet remember what these clouds are called.....instead of relying on Google I'll ask the much brighter Blip world....what type of clouds are these ?

Fortunately the skies are much bluer at home, I'm sitting out on our veranda enjoying a glass of wine as I type this.......its warm, is summer here at last ?
