Prop of Ythsie

I thought getting out to do some field work gave me the perfect opportunity of a blip.

The weather and the lighting nearly got the better of me - which as I was in Aberdeenshire would been described as "affi driech" (if you're a bit rusty on your Scottish it translates roughly to a dull, dreray day).

I was given a brief let up in the dizzle and rain though. Just enough time to snap this - the Prop of Ythsie.

I've been here over a dozen times but never really stopped to have a look at it, one day I'll have to have a wander up to it!
