Walton Tower

Gosh it was bracing out on the coast today, the easterly wind came all the way from Russia and was not going to go round you - just went straight through!
We had a nice walk round Walton backwaters (Secret Water for Arthur Ransome afficionados) then went up the Naze for a cup of tea which is where you will find this, it is a sea-mark not a lighthouse. Reckon there's a couple of days of BM's output in here!
Note the Jubilee beacon to the right, now about 30 yrs old and made of steel, rusty as anything and not likely to last for many more years - should have used iron.
