Rail-Road Spike

Andrew and I made a quick stop at some railroad tracks in our area. I have been eying these for awhile. We didn't have much time, but we made the most of it....took some fun shots of him jumping from rail to rail, some winter leaves on the tracks and this one....Although trains still run on these tracks every so often -this shot seems very vintage to me.

I am on vocal rest for a week! (no talking for five days) It is one remedy I am trying for my hoarse voice. My husband and son are in 7th heaven - and it is comedy hour watching me flail my arms around when I want to express something - my husband said this gives all new meaning to "Silent Night."
