Singing bowl

Sorry - a boring blip tonight. Long day at work and no time or inclination to go blip hunting this evening. This shot is of a singing bowl from Kashmir that I picked up in India when I was there a couple of years ago. Not that I'm much of a meditator but there is definitely something soothing about using it - and making it sing.

Not that anyone else within earshot agrees of course...

Update: A couple of people asked how you play it. It's really just like running your finger round the rim of a crystal glass and making it ring. You just move the stick round the rim of the bowl. It vibrates and "hums" if you get it right. A bit of practice needed.
