Christmas Crib

The crib is such a part of the culture of Christmas. I remember the hours spent as a school child, turning your cardboard box (with the help of paper mache, lots of tin foil and cellotape) into very "authentic" and comfortable lodgings.

Lying on the floor under the Christmas tree you carefully arranged and rearranged the wise men and shepherds, so you could pack them all in. And finally, the big silver star. Stand back and admire your work of art. We had the same cardboard crib at home for years until eventually it fell apart. It was so much better than using the "ready made" version. Or so I was led to believe...

I notice this crib could do with a few running repairs.
