Picture Postcard Edinburgh (but with no buses!)

It looks very pretty but as a result of the heavy snow all the buses were cancelled and it took me 30 minutes to hike up to Princes Street.

Then my options were

1. to embark on a two hour walk home
2. to drink gluhwein and then embark on a two hour walk home
3. to drink gluhwein and wait for the buses to come back on

Unsurprisingly option 3 seemed much the more sensible and the crowded bus was much more bearable after two large mugs of gluhwein

Have now been wearing nothing but wellies or slippers for a week. I want real shoes again.
