Snow Day

My girls got their wishes. First wish; lots of snow. Second wish; no school because of said snow. Actually I think they probably called off school due to the extreme cold. The car thermometer said 9 degrees this morning (around -12C) and the wind is quite strong still. I heard we can get gusts up to 40mph today. That makes for an extremely cold wind chill.

It is nice to see the sun today though. Everything is snowy and beautiful. Hard to believe that the snow is still on the trees after all of the wind we got overnight.
