An estimated 1000 people were buried alive by a landslide in the town of Santa Maria Tlahuitoltepec, while they slept.

My deepest hope is that every last one of them simply never woke up, never had a moment's suffering or wondering what was happening to them.

By the end of October, Hewlet Packard will release their "Slate 500" tablet that will run on Windows 7.

Ooh, a tablet that I can buy without padding Steve Job's pocket! How exciting! Not. Who gives a rip about any of the tablets regardless of who cranks them out? Not me.
