Todays blip is something a bit different for me..............
This is an HDR image created from 3 images. They were all taken using the same apperture but different exposure lengths so that I was able to get detail in both the highlights and shadows.

It was up early, take No1 son to work in Linlithgow (10 miles in the wrong direction) before taking the car to Peebles for its 25,000 mile service.

The Wicked Witches car is due its 1st service at the same place and is only 6 months younger than ours................hers has only done 2,000 miles.

After picking up the courtesy car we headed off into the borders to see if I could get any pictures.

It was very cloudy and grey and so there was nothing that jumped out. However.....I used to go canoeing on this stretch of water (many, many years ago) and so was determined to get some kind of picture.

Thus the HDR image.

A bit of a cheat since I was determined to post shots on here as taken without too much alteration (although technically it is 3 unaltered pictures just put together)
