New decs

I don't know why, but every time I look at these guys I think of the 'Old Woman who Swallowed a Fly' song.

Lovely weekend here. TPD has slacked off completely and done No Work, almost forgotten what it was like to have him around! (though give me 3 weeks and I'll definitely be ready for him to be back at school ;-)).

Christmas shopping for the nieces yesterday, stopped by the German market in Southampton too. I had (half of, because I was mugged by the baby) a frikadellen with chips and mayo, Son One a spicy sausage in a bun that I can't remember the name of and TPD had schnitzel and fried potatoes. Delicious. The gluhwein smelt fab but I couldn't believe the price so I didn't buy any on principal (then bought some at the supermarket later - it's not the same when it doesn't come in a plastic cup!).

Church today, followed by a lovely Christmas lunch with the SADMOG crowd. And we were Sad today - out of over 20 of us, only one managed to bring his Minor along. Not us either. Ate a HUGE amount, so none of us felt the need for tea. Fingers crossed the boys don't wake hungry in the night.

In too few hours it'll be back to the weekday slog, but only 5 more days until the holidays start :-D
