Concentration!

It was my children's Christingle performance today, and it was lovely. A modern twist on the traditional story (which explains the sunglasses on one of the shepherds!)

Afterwards all the children were given one of the Christingle oranges that I helped to make last night, and then they were lit whilst we all sang Silent Night. I think a few of us held our breath; after all there were a lot of very small children, wearing a lot of polyester, holding a naked flame..... but as you can see from the concentration on their faces, all ended well!
