This is the Kansas sunshine. The sun was visible for less than thirty minutes all day. That was the only time there was a break in the clouds. And minutes after more clouds came up, then the sun set.

Today I drove about 500 miles. I could have finished it and pulled the full 1,000... that is, if it weren't for the fact that the state of Colorado was declared a disaster and all highways were closed. If it weren't for that, I could have made it to Mom & Dad's.

Instead I get to have a Kansas adventure. I have some PBRs, whiskey, some movies and chips. bring on the delays.
