Christmas decoration
I went to Speke Hall, a National Trust property, last month and as well as having a tour of the ground floor, a brief history of the Hall itself and a mince pie and glass of mulled wine, we were shown how to make these traditional Victorian Christmas decorations from greenery that would have been around at the time...so they said!
I had my reservations about whether it would last until Christmas, but it has been in my garden shed and I took it out today to blip it and it seems to have survived rather well. How it will fare once it is in the centrally heated lounge, I have no idea, but at least it will look festive for a day or two!
