Another dull day, hardly any light or colour - but the birds in my garden brighten my day every time - this gorgeous male house sparrow posed for me earlier, it's almost like he was asking for a hug! House sparrows have suffered greatly over the decades due to serious habitat loss, I'm so happy to have at least 100 living in & around my garden, they're always one of the most successful nesting birds, always having at least 3 nests of lively healthy chicks! Long may they live!
