Grape Vine Sculptor

A vine sculptor put out his wares for sale at our local farmer market, getting beyond his usual custom of making things for florists to use. We had a pleasant conversation about vine sculptures I'd seen in my travels, and how the managers of cemeteries and parks are always glad when he gathers grape vines from their grounds. On the car hood is an owl which he said took him all day to weave and might have been more trouble than it was worth.
