Road to recovery!

Once again thank you all for your best wishes.
Nedim's op went very well, only the surgeon discovered 3 veins were blocked not 2 like we initially thought so he had to change 3. As you can see in the pictrure 1 vein was taken from his arm and one from his leg, the third was taken from his breast.
Nedim was moved from intensive care thursday night (his op was wednesday) and in to his private room. I was able to visit him in intensive care on thursday for literally 30 secs. I was told i was not allowed to cry as that could cause stress for nedim. but to be honest i was so excited to see him crying would have been imposible, or so i thought!
I was taken to ICU and told to stand on a red line, i was 3 metres away from nedim, machines and tubes everywhere but he looked suprisingly well. When he saw me his lower lip and chin started wavering and at that moment i had to work so hard not to breakdown myself, it was a very emotional and tender 30 secs. Enough time to tell him Zara and i were both fine, that we missed him loved him at that we were both so proud of him.
Friday when i went to visit him, nedim was up walking about! i was so shocked, he looked great and today he looked even better, all of his tubes have been removed and he is beginning to look more like himself. Hopefully he will come home on monday and he can really start his recovery and gettin back to normal. x
