Ferry 'cross the Wyre

The Knott End ferry, or the Wyre Estuary Ferry as it's now known. This was always a big trip when I was a kid but it's only a 3 or 4 minute crossing - seemed a lot longer to a small child. Not much at Knott End but it always seemed so far away and a bit of an adventure. 14 people off and 3 on so looks like it's earning it's keep today - something it has often struggled to do.
