Reflections at the Viewing Gallery
My very first official 'outing' with my D50, and it's at my favourite place-- the airport :)
careless me set my camera's date one day late -_-"
I took loads of shots, from different angles, and really love this one which I took, leaning against the glass panels.. from far it look seamlessly like one picture, while close-up shots like these show the reflections. Pretty cool :)
My heart nearly skipped a beat or two when half-way through my shots, my shutter button couldn't be pressed down any more after a shot! ok, I thought, don't panic now, just try to remove the battery and put it in again . So viola, it worked! BUT it was only momentarily, as after each shot, the shutter froze again; I couldn't even access the menu!
It was only after contacting the seller, and checking out online internet forums, did I realise that the 'freezing up' could be due to several factors, some being: low battery (which I had then), or that the lens was loose. So while I was charging the batt back home, I prayed hard that the 'malfunctioning' would be due to low battery.. and thank God it was. :)
whew!
God forbid I spend another few hundred bucks to change the shutter unit (*touchwood!!!*) again when it was been changed by the seller about 2 months back..!
