Gridlock

Utter mayhem in town this evening - both tunnels out of action for a while causes gridlock in the whole of the town centre. So, my planned blip for tonight was scuppered.

Have a picture, instead, of the nice carpet we bought yesterday. Having bought a carpet in Istanbul earlier in the year, we were pretty surprised to get a call from the shop owner last week to say he was coming up to Liverpool and could he stop by? Turned up in a big white van full of carpets last night. Pleasantly surprised he wasn't messing about with prices, but still had a bit of fun haggling.

Apologies for lack of effort - well the effort was there - I was stuck in traffic for an hour - but it resulted in this.
