Brimscombe Mill

Brimscombe Port is filled now with offices and light industrial units.

Once a bustling inland port where goods transshipped between

Severn trows and Thames barges. The hub of the Severn Thames

Canal, now in restoration, where the Queen Of Africa was built.

I was buying carpet from a wharehouse at Brimscombe, I took my camera along. Thinking about old photos Steve showed me, this is one of the only parts of the area still looking as it once might have done.
