Steel needs transport.

This is a yard that we are using to store items.In the background there is a Derrick structure that will eventually become part of a drilling rig.
For vessels of any description to be built from scratch you need steel and lots of it. These lorries are forming a que to be loaded up with steel plates which will go to the fabrication huts to be cut, bent, rolled, into many shapes and forms eventually becomming a piece of a hull, or a module of some description.
The yard covers a huge area and the amount of steel plates also cover a huge area.
It is a very interesting place to work and watch the ongoings on a daily basis.
