Govetts Leap Blackheath
Left my run a bit late today, so headed off to a lookout for a cliche blip.
Some say the waterfall is so called because a bushranger named Govett was driven off the cliff on his horse.
The more prosaic, but accurate reason is that it was named after a surveyor named William Govett who was working on a road across the mountains in 1831.
