PELICAN CLEANING

This happy guy sat and cleaned himself for 20 minutes, then just stayed and watch boats and the water. I walked closer and closer but he was not concerned with me. I wonder what he was thinking about, probably the great fish he will catch and he can always stay in the Turks. The Pelican is one of the heaviest birds capable of flight.


What a wonderful bird is the pelican
His beak can hold more than his belly can
He can hold in his beak
Food enough for a week
But I'll be damned if I know how the hell he can.
