Off down to Lancaster for a weee interview for a textile colourist job I applied for in July and have just heard from... so drove, was suprisingly easy and lovely and sunny all the way down! only downside was the screen wash freezin up and said sun blinding me due to a) it's brightness and reflecting on the wet road and b) it's highlighting of all the grime hitting the windscreen from the road and being unable to be washed off... the windscreen wipers madea valiant effort to try and DRAG some of the dirt off though so they deserve a round of hearty applause.

so.. the interview... well i think they were somewhat surprised to see me, not only because i had made it there alive with all the news about transport crisis, but also because the job they are actually looking for is on the factory floor. with big ole machines. where no other girls currently work and they could actually name individually all 2 of the girls that had once worked there. So they were worried I would crack in those conditions. especially since apparently there might be SWEARING on the factory floor. GASP. so who knows. I got a nice tour round the factory and a teaser round the digital print area which oddly was an all girl workforce...(apart from the head dude who showed me round). annnn back up the road. to MINCE AND TATTIIEEESS!!!! and another thooper fire! cue large squirt of tomato ketchup and relllaaaaxxxxx.
