Thawing out

My cold/ Cough/ unidentified ailment is on the way out and today I've felt much better. Although we didn't do much as the car was still under a blanket of snow and we feared that the cold hostile air might set us back.
We did however get our delivery of food - not from ASDA, Tesco or Sainsbury's but from my sister. We'd tried all the big names for a slot this week - no surprise that they were all booked out (or not running) till at least Monday.
We got all sorts of things brought right to our door which makes sure we can eat for the next wee while till either the car can take us to the supermarket or we can bring stuff home from a central store.

As a test of our general health we decided to chance our arm and go for a walk to our bus stop and back. Mainly to see if our lungs would let us and also to check that if we did make it we wouldn't be killed to death by some massive ice patch that might still be around. All was successful. So we both are aiming to be back at work tomorrow - cabin fever was setting in rapidly.

On or meander back home I pulled out the camera to document this sorry car that looks not to have moved since at least Monday when the big dump of snow happened - hopefully with the thaw that is happening now it should be moving again soon.
