Crisscrosses ...

An early morning jaunt to Heathrow threw up many blippable images but I felt my father wouldn't appreciate me stopping at Hindhead after a 20 hour journey back to the UK. So I had to decline the opportunity to capture the hoar frost on the trees - I don't think that I've ever seen the Devil's Punch Bowl look so magnificant.

Today is an emotional day and the starkness of this image doesn't reflect how I feel. A year ago I had to say goodbye to my little canine friend who lived life to the full, on his terms .... a year on, his absence is still felt ....
