Creche?
What do you call this then? For me it's a nativity scene. My San Francisco born friend tells me it's a creche. For me a creche is a place to leave your infants while you use a facility.
Most of our UK and US English differences are famous, especially for me with my pedantic love of language, but in my forty plus years this is the first time I've heard this one.
I looked it up on wikipedia which backed him up, but I actually wouldn't put it past this guy to put it on wikipedia himself just to win the point. So do any of you call it a creche?
