Not a magpie....

....because it just wouldn't cooperate and pose nicely in Mrs Nextdoors sycamore tree. So it'll have to be something out of the blip prop box.....a jumble sale purchase many years ago, hand stitched by someone with much more patience than I possess, all those tarnished by time sequins are individually stitched, the tiny glass beads in pairs....it must have taken hours and hours to complete and I can't help but wonder what stories it could tell....

I was gong to blip late today, I'm off to an 'affair' at The Centre for Life tonight, but seeing as it involves festive alcohol, I suspect any shots I remember to take will become progressively blurry...but if any pass muster I'll link to them on Flickr tomorrow from a, very probably, painkiller-themed blip....

EDIT.....In answer to MrSmith and Kath Gordon...I won't be wearing it but the compact camera will be!
