Have a nice daye!

Home?

Well after a bit of a delay, we did get on the very full plane back to Glasgow.

We landed at 9am - an hour and a half late but that wasn't too bad. Except - this was our view for an hour and a half. We were parked up at the domestic terminal but we weren't allowed off in to the terminal as we had to go through immigration.

We were then asked to be patient as they hadn't worked out a safe way to get us off the plane!

A half hour later we were told that they were going to get some steps to attach to the plane to then bus us to the international terminal - we were asked to be patient a little longer. The bus arrived and then the steps arrived but weren't attached and a whole pile of ground crew appeared to be just standing around!

Finally we were told that we were going to be bused to the terminal in groups of 70 at a time (only 1 bus!!!) We were thankfully in the first group and they took us off the plane through the walkway into the domestic terminal before turning us around and down the steps INSIDE the terminal and on to the bus - why we had to wait 90 minutes for steps to arrive and be defrosted to then be taken off the bridge I have no idea!

Next challenge? Our taxi driver was snowed in and couldn't get out of his street - no other taxi companies that we could think of were out either!

Little Bro's boss came to our rescue in his 4x4 and we finally made it home - over 24hrs after we set off!

Now to tackle the mass of snow on and around my car!!!
