Icy Town II: The Iceman Cometh

Some of Inverurie's traders have evidently begun to think about the Health and Safety implications of all those lovely icicles hanging from the front of their premises, and the possible litigation that might result from one of these fantastic beasts falling on a customer's head.

So - who you gonna call? Surely these guys can't specialise in this sort of work: what on earth would they do the rest of the year?

I've also been intrigued for some while by the name of the blue-fronted gift shop whose upper story they are clearing - "Up West". It strikes me this can only be a play on the New England expression "Down East", used in reference to either all or part of the coast of the US State of Maine - but if so, how many people appreciate the parody here in Inverurie?
