Festive candle

Christmas cards have started to arrive, the candle was a gift from Angie and John and very pretty it is too.

Two weeks today we will be in the Sierra Nevada, hopefully being able to ski, last year was a disaster, very little snow and high winds. This year we have the snow, but Roys knees are dodgy, so I have made an appointment for him for some accupuncture, hopefully it will do the trick.

Sad phone call tonight from Mum, her and Dads best friend will probably not last until Christmas, it will be the end of an era for Mum, as Biddo (his name is Dave Biddlestone) and Dad grew up together and Mum has known him since she was 15 so that is a friendship of 65 years.
