Frost again

Today was one of the most stunningly beautiful days ever, everything covered in frost and the sun shining with blue sky. Amazing.

It would be impossible to do it justice with a picture but even more so when I don't have a wide angle lens. I have an old film SLR lens (28-80) on my DSLR and that means croppage, I have moaned about it for years and not done anything about it.

I have made-do as I generally prefer tightly cropped pictures (most my landscapes are orientated as Portrait) but today was the last straw. Decision made I need to replace my standard lens - the questions is which lens do I choose...?
